I'm sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience of shopping, Alicia.
I buy very little -- organically grown food and second hand almost everything else, but I really enjoy the people who work in the stores and have a pleasant human interaction whenever I shop.
Thank you for your compassion, Diana! I feel it! Although I did have an unpleasant experience the led to my initial disillusionment in that grocery store (around the same time many employees were also feeling disillusioned, my face covering experience was at a coffee shop, I had tried to set an intention to just surrender my personal feelings and be open to the idea of wearing one without a "charge" around it if it was aligned. I gave it my best shot. I couldn't breathe. It was terrifying. I ended up running in and out of the coffee shop so that I had enough breath to order as I realized I had about three breaths in the mask before I really, really couldn't breathe. So I never put one on again and just stayed away from everything that required one as I didn't want to make anyone feel afraid or angry but I I simply couldn't wear one.
Where I live, we're not wearing masks when we shop anymore, so things feel back to normal. Hopefully it'll be that way for your area soon, too, Alicia.
