Also, who really invented the printing press and the bullshit we learn in college, plus a cool story about divinity at the coffee shop and the divergent perspectives in families.
Thanks for sharing Alicia. “Here” is to the light of love! We all seem to be living into the questions as the divinity of the mystery swallows us🙏❤️ As for this world l know that the why is love- Its just so hard to let go of the how. Bless you.
I'm with you, 100%. Letting go of the how is the mystery taking us, isn't it? This is love in action in the world. We don't know how to do it, but in one way or another...if we let our stumblings become our gold, and our hearts become more of the love we are, for ourselves anad others, G-d knows how to do it through us. And that is JOY! We are so connected to all life and it's wonderful to discover it again, and again.
G-d shows up in us as us. We are love. It’s definitely a journey through as opposed to a journey to. Out beyond good and bad and wrong and right there is a field. I’ll meet you there. 🙏❤️
Yes, beautiful words, my friend. It sounds like it's going to be a picnic out in the field. My husband, son and just did a spiral layout using our new Alana Fairchild/Rassouli oracle deck...so profound. We haven't even finished the reading because it's six cards and hubby works today! It begins with a card for approaching the issue, then for beginning healing and eventually to the core of it. A lot of us are meeting up in the field - I can't wait! :)
I think that you may find useful a volume by His Holiness The Dalai Lama, entitled "The Transformed Mind." Let us know what you think. This work of yours above is classy, sassy, beautiful and dazzling.
Thank you!!! What kind and joyously uplifting words from my friend! I haven't read that one but I loved The Book of Joy he did with Desmond Tutu a while back :) What struck you about The Transformed Mind? Or was it gentler than being struck? :)
It is like a technically dense manual for consciousness. I found it very informative, and it helps with deeper insight into the Diamond Sutra. As it has been said many times before, it is the science of the mind.
Words like technical and dense alongside consciousness make giggle. But I get what you mean. I once slept in the same bed that had been slept in by the Dalai Lama. Interestingly Nancy Pelosi also stayed at that B&B and so did almost every other politician - I just decided to stay the same place as my mentor at the time. Consciousness.
"... If it is formless, like consciousness, the meaning of having parts can be understood in terms of different levels of continuity or stream." page 31, Journey to Happiness, The Transformed Mind. Dalai Lama.
Love it! This makes a lot more sense than parts as actually separate. Light refracting. Waves rippling. Two dimensionally, colored crayons shaded, scribbled over, different parts of the picture, one sheet of paper or canvas..
It's certainly worth a gander. Consciousness was stigmatised by the scientific establishment for the purpose of dissuading anyone from taking it seriously.
