I think about the interesting enfleshment of spirit we often call incarnation. I was born with the cord wrapped twice around my neck. More than one intuitive has said I had “incarnational hesitation” when I came close to how dense this place is. In other words, I had an “Oh shit,” moment right before birth where I questioned, “Do I REALLY want to do this?”
It’s pretty amazing that we can be physical and also be a soul. A soul having a human experience. A body breathed alive, having the experience of a soul in it. A body that belongs to Gaia. A body that is a cell in her body, as her body is a cell in a larger whole. A nested system of great belonging. And yet to be a small body, cold, born into a world where kindness is not reliable, where not all is as it seems, where there is much to experience that is a contrast to oneness…I bet if you are reading this you have had a moment where you wondered why on earth you chose to be here.
And yet, it’s really amazing. The fact that you get to have a body. It’s more like a costume party if you don’t take it too seriously. Everyone is dressed up.
But more than that, there’s something incredible about having a relationship between your soul and your body. You get an inheritance from the divine, but you also get an inheritance that comes from the all the chapters of our great epic consciousness story. You get all the previous chapters included with your incarnation, as they’ve been encoded epigenetically, and they aren’t conscious. This is a wonderful piece from
And through this unfolding story, which you enter at a given moment in time, you get to shine your light, participate, influence, play, co-create, dance, be alive, fully alive for the whole arising in the fractal of YOU!
Humanness, ensouled, authentic, real-deal humaness is It’s how the light of your soul filters through and plays and dances off the raw incarnatonal material of your inheritance within your biology; it’s the dance of early ecology with your divine inheritance and your soul’s unique expression, as you unfurl your heart, or shut it down, then, slowly, open it back up - and your life is an offering to all of creation.
From Alana Fairchild’s Rumi deck, illustrated by Rassouli:
Tell me the truth, I asked love, “What are you?”
“I am the everlasting life. I am the recurring joy of living.”
“The master speaks of a den of riches, where many jewels can be found…the devoted ones look but cannot see… “In service, my beloveds. You will find the jewels in in service. For what is the soul but the finest and most precious of heavenly jewels?”
“So you are being empowered to serve, to assist to…to become a sacred hand at work for the will of heaven.”
May all beings have the recurring joy of living!
Love it! Oneness. God shows up in us as us. Life-force. Spirit. We are a body in a soul. 🙏❤️
Sister, this is beautifully written! Thank you for sharing your experience into words! I’ve really been enjoying listening to you... for some reason I was supposed to write “reading your work” and I automatically wrote “listening to you”. I trust that it is what my soul wants to express. Do you remember having the cord wrapped around your neck? I wonder if you’ve had any symptoms of that trauma show up in your life? Difficultly expressing yourself etc?
I love Alana’s cards! Although I don’t have the Rumi deck yet but I do have it on my list. I currently work with her Kuan Yin, Sacred Rebels, White Light, and Kali decks.
Love you sister, A’ho! ❤️🙏🏽✨
