"After first husband and I split up, the Philippino family told on my current husband and me to the Pastor for flirting before my divorce was legal."
I am starting to think that this sort of behavior is one of the worst of human pathologies. People are so concerned with how other people live their lives. Next stop: FORCING them to live the way they think they should live. Enough already.
I think it is worth thinking about this phrase in some depth. At first blush, I like it. The government is to be feared, for sure. All government is.
But what does the word "country" actually mean here? It could mean different things to different people. The land. The culture. The traditions. The population.
It would be easy for me to simply repeat the sentiment, but I would rather unpack it a little bit first…
YES! I love the way you think...and the underlying ways you feel. There is a lot to unpack. I first saw it and while I was like, "Well yeah, I know what you mean..." it didn't feel good, so that turned me to how can I focus on what I DO want to create...And just turned to this in a new book I have: "Good praises good, but evil fights evil." ~ Hazrat Inayat Khan
You're doing a great, IMO. I have the same journey from criticism to creation. It's always a work in progress. How can I use what I see (critique) to invite what wants to be created or built that is WAY BETTER! Also, I feel so many are caught in the critique mode who have outgrown it (ei already know the basic "what's up") that in order to move past awareness we also have to have inclusion of that instinct as appropriate signal, like pain in your foot, to tell you to move it. Our overlap with criticism gives us vibrational overlap with people now ready to move on to creation/to building the new that is sovereign, beautiful, loving, free, joyful, synergistic! :) :)

Yeah, I am also trying to focus on what to build, rather than on what is bad. Still a work in progress!

Thanks, and you too :-)
100% on all of this. We know what's wrong. So we have four-ish choices:
1. ignore it and try to be blissful in ignorance
2. keep talking about it, thinking about it, dwelling on it, picking at it…but do nothing about it.
3. do something to fight it
4. build something better than it
Life got better when I realized what a trap #2 is. And then it improved some more when I realized that #4 is an option!
