We celebrated May Day with a simple stool, decades old, with a crystal on top, surrounded by strawberries and decorated with silver string. I led the ceremony’s prayers and danced around the stool, while my husband and son took turns playing live music, composted mostly by my son and the last one for which I wrote the lyrics and my son put to music and made into a formal song.

I don’t like the name Beltain because I am not a witch. In one life a shaman said I was burned for being good at herbalism. Hung upside down as a twelve year old bright little thing while a priest read fire and brimstone and terrified me that I was really going to hell.

But the fact that priests are often horrible human beings does not mean witches are all good or that the bad is to be embraced as part of integration. Owning our shadow to me does not mean embracing evil, but untwisting to it recognize behind the inversion, if you write it the other way, evil is simply live. It is energy that is confused to the point of inversion.

People from time to time have observed they experience my poems as spellcasting and I’m not saying they are wrong. All our words are spelled.

Any time we use language we are spelling. Our energy signature is always creating.

It’s just a matter of how conscious we are and how pure our hearts are - and while in Yeshua’s time Beltane was celebrate by the essenes and early Christian with its full spiritual significance and in surrender to Divine Will, so much associated with it has to do with stuff that is witchy in a darker sense. But I believe in the kind of wishcrafting that is aligned and surrendered to Source - the Mother of All Life and her will.

Yeshe Tsogya’s autobriography writes of a time when secret mantra would be misused and no longer useful. I suspect that is why Kaia Ra was led only to channel her transmission on Mary Magdalene about how Yeshua was her best friend and not go into the details of and….

writes bravely of her experience of rape and of her perceptions of abuse within Buddhism:

The expectation of masculine stoicism—that men aren’t allowed to express pain in healthy ways—is utterly toxic when it is combined with projections of spiritual power. Being a realized teacher really doesn’t make you less of an asshole. Glimpsing the absolute nature of reality is not always contingent on being an emotionally mature, well-adjusted person.

As for my family and me, we danced around an old Ikea stool and said prayers and blessings for all life. The guys took turns playing the music.

First was This Is The Light by Adam Bridge

Next was Sovereign Divinity, also by Adam Bridge

The Third was Joyful Divinity by Yours Truly and Adam Bridge

Between songs we feasted on a quinoa mushroom onion mushy thing and a noodle dish with fresh broccoli, tomatoes, a hint of space and a lot of love.

There are lots of ways to be in a healthy relationship with life. There is no cookie cutter recipe, but common to all paradigms is the law of consent. COnsent means you are fully conscious and understand what you are consenting to do, receive or participate in, directly or indirectly. Consent means you have the choice to say no and that this choice is truly viable. It means you are free to choose without being punished for saying no. It means yes and no are equal choices.

This goes for sex and for anything else that directly impacts your sovereign personhood, including technology, food, masks, injections and any other thing under the sun.

What we need is places of local connection where human beings, plants, animals, fungi, elementals, sky, water, earth, stars all feel that they are a part of one another’s daily lives. In a communal way of life, we know and care for one another from natural empathy. In a cosmically connected localism, little communities would be fully choosing where to put their resources together, with 100% local control, and a commitment not to dominate or seek to acquire control of other communities, due to a simple universal value of love and honoring of each cluster of humanity in its unique vitality and health.

Spring is about fertility and not just fertility of the ground but also of our capacity to sprout new life.

We say “You were just a twinkle in your mother’s eye” when we describe a time before someone’s conception or shortly thereafter.

Heartbeat stars.

Merging Neutron stars.

Magnetastars with solar flares called solar quakes that generate pure gold when the radioactive emissions cool.

Pillars that look like phalluses found in places where stars are gestated and birthed.

If you ever thought of black holes with fear or a connotation of them swallowing the light…prepare to be delighted to find out with me that just as the Absolute Divinity of Mother Womb births All Form from Nothing, black holes, thought originally to hinder the development of nearby star nurseries are actually birthing them, umbilical cord included, and this metaphor, of birth, of umbilical cord is being used in science.

“Astronomers have spotted a black hole "giving birth" to stars at the center of a nearby dwarf galaxy — and the stellar newborns are tethered to the black hole by a massive "umbilical cord" made of gas and dust.”

If you’ve thought of black holes as an end point, or as something that swallows, even defeats the light, prepare to open your own heart womb to the discovery that actually, black holes are star birthers, light birthers, just like the Divine Mother.

The energy of life courses.

.I am not certified to teach The Sophia Code, just sharing my personal experiences with it, but I highly recommend the book - it is truly a living transmission.

Blessings to all and much love and may there be abundance for all, without coercion of any kind!
