Lilac
Sound of bird
Siren can also be heard
Apple blossom exuberance
Bursting forth
Reaches to sky
And for the other tree
Up in her branches
A happy bumble bee
Song of bird can now be heard
Witness the skies watch
It all unfold
Oh this glorious day!
How much wonder and joy and love can it hold?
My heart exponentially unfolds
Like petals on Magnolia
Before the sun was up
Just before the bird bird chirped
I was up with the dog to let her out
And I looked at the stars
Sending them my love
In response
A glorious comet spraying its greeting from above
And moments later the first bird spoke
The morning awoke
And it is brilliant
Glorious
Loving
And PEACEFUl
And True
Oh - I love apple blossoms! And lilacs of course. It's not quite time yet where I live, for these beauties.
Very nice! Lilacs always remind me of Walt Whitman's:
When lilacs last in the dooryard bloom’d,
And the great star early droop’d in the western sky in the night,
I mourn’d, and yet shall mourn with ever-returning spring.
Ever-returning spring, trinity sure to me you bring,
Lilac blooming perennial and drooping star in the west,
And thought of him I love.
