Know anyone of Indigenous heritage who has written on it? As much as I appreciate good white guys, I really would like to hear the original stories of sacred peoples from them directly. There has been so much subtle distortion in the new age movements which often overlap with sinister dark things.

Annie Besant and the theosophists were mixed up with the malthusian eugenicists, for example; in one of the traditions that has influenced me greatly, I learned that a fellow who was instrumental to bringing yoga to the states was also accused of kidnapping, white slavery, and started a club funded by a Vanderbilt. He threatened to kill a southasian man to try (unsuccessfully) prevent him from marrying his sister.

Dear Alice, I’ve read all the books that were smearing the Theosophical Society.

I must disagree. No organization is PERFECT.

Please tell me, who wrote this? Send me the names, books, etc.

If you did not do a fact check, you might be parroting BS?

Where are all these negative judgements coming from?

I totally disagree with. Go to www.darkjournalist.com. for the real facts on Madame Blavatsky, Theosophical Society…...

Some of it is stuff I have looked up myself, well documented facts. Not everything is all good or all bad...can be good people in corrupt organizations or good people who are fooled and lead organizations that have distortion in them. All I know is I have wanted to go near Madam B and I am always guided not to...I suspect she is well intentioned. I did read once that the Bon may have deceived her and that resonated for me.

The book is written by daughter of Ora Ray Baker, half-sister of Pierre Bernard - Hazrat Inayat Khan married Ora Ray (later changed her name to Ameena Begum) but she had to flee in secret to Europe to meet him. All of the information is corroborated from other sources, albeit different pieces in different places, but it all reflects the same picture.

Most, if not all indigenous cultures did not need to translate thoughts, feelings, etc. into a written language. Orality vs. Literacy, by Walter J. Ong. ( A pioneering exploration of the differences between oral and literate cultures.)

Most indigenous cultures passed on their culture and language by stories/myths.

When colonizers killed indigenous people, their history, language, and culture were wiped out.

That's why there is no written history of most Indigenous Cultures…..

These stories are still orally transmitted; it's totally okay, I was hoping maybe you had a direct contact with someone who has been entrusted with the stories. There are still Hawaiian elders.

Here is a Steiner book I am looking for: COSMIC MEMORY.

www.steinerbooks.org. (Anthroposophic Press, P.O. Box 58. Hudson, NY 12534).

This is from the Fall/Winter 2023/24 Catalog.

From www.darkjournalist.com, I learned that R. Steiner was very closely related to the Theosophical Society. Alicia thinks the word ‘Dark Journalist is “evil,” it is not…

I’m so happy to know another R. Steiner fan.

Colonizers always define the “colonized” as indigenous people. This is massive identity THEFT.

If the American Indians colonized Europe, europeans would be defined as “indigenous people.”

The names like, the British, Germans, Dutch, French, Austrians, Italians, etc. would have been wiped off the world map.

This is an interesting conversation. I just read an article by a fellow who is part Jewish, part Quechua who agrees with the idea of indigenous being defined by colonization, while also acknowledging others have different views. Care and respect for the complexity and for not having all the answers is important. I went to Peru with my son years ago and I listened to my intuition to get up at a certain point where where I had been sitting on the little transport train on the ground that takes you to the tarmac for the small planes. An indigenous family came on the train - three generations. Grandmother traditionally dressed, the mother and her children, modern. I instantly recognized Grandmother, and had been told by my mentor at the time that I would meet someone. I didn't want to be rude or presumptuous, so I gave her my seat and then I would look up just a little and nod to acknowledge her. When we got off the tarmac, I once again made brief eye contact and smiled. She motioned me over. She tried to talk to me but I didn't understand a word, so instead she just opened her arms and motioned me in for a hug. It was one of the most sacred experiences I have ever had. No words. But it was everything.

A sacred experience, beautiful Alicia.

We are Spiritual Beings, experiencing physical life on mother Earth.

At this point in Earth time, I define the Human Soul as DIVINE SPIRITUAL ENERGY.

(BioElectroMagneticFrequencies)…..If anyone can improve/enhance this definition, please do.

Tuning into the Collective Consciousness….

I agree with the view that defining indigenous solely based on being colonialized is more colonialization but I also have empathy and an understanding for why it would make sense or be done.

Dear Paolo, I don’t own a cell phone, so i can’t down load your app.

About ten years ago, I noticed i could feel the EMRadiation from the first time I bought a cell phone.

Today it’s called EMF sensitive. Yes, it is very, very good to be sensitive! Family, friends were teasing me that I was too sensitive. I replied, “Just because you don’t feel the radiation penetrating your body, that doesn’t mean the EMF is not penetrating your body.” Guess what, they just laughed...

Good morning Alicia. Thank you very much! I’m impressed.

Yesterday, I was browsing through my personal library and came across a book titled:

Essential Sufism, edited by James Fadiman & Robert Frager, foreword by Huston Smith.

Copyright 1998 Castle Books. I must tell you, Sufism is one of my favorite religions of all time.

What got me started in collecting books on Religion, was when I took a course on comparative religions of the world @ the University of Hawaii. I was raised in a secular working class family.

My father hated Christianity, but my mom kept a Bible and read it when times were hard.
