Oh so good! Thank you. It’s always been “what matters to you” not “what’s the matter with you”! It’s a Soul Journey indeed. Thank you so much for this one. 🙏❤️

Ooooh I LOVE "What matters to you" rather than "What's the matter with you"! That is the PERFECT distinction! Sadly, I cannot imagine being asked this question with any sincerity by any health professional other than the one I just heard it from and the one I am married to. IMAGINE if every first appointment were an hour or 90-two hours for complicated patients. Yet if all healers were connected so it would not fall only on the shoulders of those primarily licensed to practice "medicine" - those with medical licenses etc could easily help patients to explore for themselves, or if they need support exploring, get connected with a liason (could be a volunteer if a social worker isn't available) to help them explore who might well aligned to be on their team!

My hunch is access would improve if the time were invested up front, then followed up with plans customized around working with those other folks from integrative disciplines brought in as appropriate to each one. Hubby once joked about how when clinicians retire, no one ever says, "I just found it so fulfilling to refill prescriptions and going through my inbasket." They always say it was an honor to be part of patient's lives, to care for the human being, right? Isn't that what patients find healing too? So instead of more machine medicine, how about more soul medicine? Thank you for shining, Jamie!

Narrative Medicine- it’s a really good process of patient centred care where two stories confluence into one!

Confluence

Two lives

colliding

at the altar of care

A communion

of collaboration

Weaving a tapestry

of meaning

Converging

into a new story

Woven in possibility

Inviting change

A confluence

Two stories

Transforming

Two-One

This is brilliant. Did you know just write this?

RE colliding, I mean, I did run into my dentist as she was coming out of the bath room before I knew she knew was my dentist...our first introduction was, "I believe we ran into each other at the bathroom." Fortunately we are both smily, generally high vibers so it was a good vibe interaction, but yes, colliding outside the alter. When I was in college ( went to a Christian University) in one dorm someone took the liberty to label the stalls "1 John, 2nd John, 3rd John." I handwrote and decorated the verse that says, "Therefore we may boldly approach the throne of grace with confidence knowing we will find help/mercy in our time of need."

That's great! Thank you so much for sharing.💕🙏

In classical homœopathy this would be considered 'normal':

"looking at the whole... see every individual as whole... allowing to unfold naturally..."

Thank you! I think it's not easy until it is. Yesterday I had a strong "knowing" it was the day to find out. He is more intuitive than I am in specifics but I am intuitive in how to guide him. I gave him instructions that came intuitively to me and coached him one when he got a little stuck and he then quite effectively found the perfect one that we both resonated with...but it must not have been time sooner, because that clarity only came when it came!

My grandmother, who lived at a distance from me, had a book for me to read, "The Dynamic Laws of Healing", by Catherine Ponder. I am very much a book person. Am greatdul for this article and healing mindsets. Thank you.
