It rained almost all day and it was a soft rain that invited tears. It was an opportunity for some release, including some tears. It also included dancing in the rain on the corner. A woman with her dog stopped by and asked if I was doing a rain dance! As Iโve written elsewhere, being a unicorn isnโt about being pollyana - itโs about shining our light in the storm and dancing in the rains, including both allowing our tears and arising from them to sing, to dance, to shine as only we can. Each of us has a unique signature. We all are valuable to the whole. Last night at dinner we had some interesting conversations. We ended talking about marriage and messiah. Not the two. Just about how my son is interested in a future committed relationship but isnโt sure about marriage. He feels it has a dark history and he isnโt wrong, though I did joke, โIf you do decide to get married, how โabout Iโll walk you down the aisle and give you away to your wife to balance out history?โ He laughed.
The messiah. How loaded a term that was never meant to be, as I understand it. Itโs a great way to gaslight people - oh they think theyโre the messiah. But thatโs like gaslighting someone for believing they are one with God. Does the ego think it is God or does the soul recognize that it is - along with the Totality of life and all interuniversial creation?
The messiah. Iโm half Jewish and I went to a Christian College, incidentally called Messiah. Itโs now a University, which weirds me out, so I just still think of it how it was, because honestly, Iโll probably never go for a reunion.
Back to the term. My understanding is that it means anointed one and that the term โanointed oneโ means to be blessed by God and set apart for a special purpose.
What if that is everyone?
Milkweed has a special purpose. You have a special purpose. It may have many aspects and not only one!
Love this. I do believe we all have a mission or purpose life, and we're not separated from God. Too much conditioning! โค๏ธ
