Have you looked?
Have you seen it?
Water on a leaf
A flower opening to the sun?
A dog and human on a run
The other day my husband brought me cake
We had it for breakfast
My son made us dinner this evening
While I coached him
Stir fry with rice noodles
Delicious
Followed by a song
Called Integrity he wrote
And tomorrow I’ll point out to him the nasturtiums
My husband says their leaves are his favorite of all leaves
And I looked at the clover growing on the median strip
And it reminded me of lotuses
As much as my husband’s favorite leaves
Remind me of lily pads
Above my head a dragonfly flits and flies
Sharing the evening air with bees, along with birds and bats
The world is beautiful
It is full of glory
Let yourself appreciate each moment
Life is a precious unfoldment
Your life is a gift
Tell a good story
This poem is beautiful, much like the message it spreads, and it opens within the reader a remembering, much like when one perceives the soft blossoming of a flower! Loved this!
