Mmmmm....YES! I would love to hear anything you would share about what you know of the roots of the Quechua speaking people! Although in some sense I feel I know everything I need to know from the hug, it is also a gift to keep learning in ways that help us appreciate on all levels! You are so, so, so welcome - I am so touched and glad you enjoyed the post!
I'm continually studying down here with my qechua speaking neighbors and have been studying and living with the andean pacos (qeros) for 12 years. I sprinkle in wisdom from the andes throughout because it's such a rooted but expansive culture (i call it potato energy) slow moving, stable and incredibly strong and long lasting. deeply connected to the old ways even still. We have much to learn from them.
" Eagle and the Condor" reminded me of Ursula LeGuin's big complicated novel, "Always Coming Home"... The structure is of an anthropological report of a 'past' that is actually in our (the reader) 'future'.... Did I say complicated? 😁

Complicated or just non-linear?
both.... she weaves different genres together in complex ways: poetry, prose, song, etc.
Mmmm….Do you recommend it? After I am done with Wise Child I may be ready for another fiction book!
Definitely recommend it. Anything by her for that matter.
I read it years ago and then it started coming back to me and I read it again about a year ago. Easier the second time.
Thank you, I will check it out, on your recommendation! Blessings <3
Got it!
