Two squirrels at play in a tree
In rustling branches, higher and higher, then spiraling lower
Rustling the leafed-out leaves
Right above me
As I sat on the path
A moment later I moved to my seat
At an old wooden table someone discarded by the roadside
Brought home in the trunk by Honey for me
Today is his birthday
And I want to say how wonderful it is to be with a man who can truly love and truly see
And I sat at this table while he was still in bed, you see
And a squirrel running so fast, headlong into the wooden chair leg, almost right into me!
Then a crash and a crfuffle
And more squirrels joined the fluffy-tailed chase
And five ran across the driveway into the neighboring tree-place
I looked up and around
At the leafy canopy and wondered
How tropical it seemed to be
Although in the midwest is where I live to watch the squirrels so playful and free
But 490 million years ago, the park of up the street was a shallow tropical sea
And one day maybe this place will become so lush and warm
Tropical guava and papaya will grow on a new tree
Global warming and cooling has gone one for ages
The medieval warming period, for example
On conventional narratives, reality may soon trample
And although I wish Taylor Swift would stop flying her private plane
While speaking of climate on stages
And all the WEF boys too,
I know Mother Earth can balance herself
If we operate in Oneness consciousness and hold the big corpses to account
Instead of giving social credit scores to individuals whose footprint hardly counts
When compared to the military
Industrial
Pharmacological
Psychological
Agricultural
Anti-cultural
Complex
Of Egos
Who have forgotten how to play with the innocence of a squirrel
Instead of trying to toy with our genes and our food supply
Until all but their elite favorites die
So let us stop taking seriously those who would like to control
And let us remember to play so that fear does not take hold
And walk among the roses
And play the loot, the lyre
The ukulele
Guitelele
The Harp
Switch on the Soothing Love Gear
And Listen to birds
And their soft, gentle cheers
Abound in goodness
And grace
And joy
And we will offer the world our light
That can shine away any ploy
As we receive solutions in prayer
When we dare to believe we are worthy
Of GRACE
Which requires nothing but the faith
To receive miracles on our behalf
To help us remember our wholeness, our oneness, our soverignty
And laugh
Beautiful Alicia. I felt like I was there and resonate with your words… The photos are lovely as well.
