Life is full of shit. Good shit. Shit that fertilizes flowers and veggies. Cool shit that inspires us. Holding our shit together, letting our shit go. Tough shit. Awesome shit. Hard shit. If you’ve been around for a little bit, it won’t surprise you that I like acronyms that reclaim profanity as sacred. We’ve all been through some shit. Good shit. Hard shit. In the world there is some awesome shit. There is beautiful shit. There is holy shit. There are moment when we realize something and we are like, “Holy shit!” Other times, it’s just “OH SHIT.” When we’re in grace, there can be a space to recognize it’s just digested life experience we no longer need - we thank what has been nutritious and let that shit go. Or times we had an experience that made us sick, and we REALLY need to let that shit go, for our own wellbeing, and maybe to stay away what is “not for us,” or at least re-examine our relationship with it, so that the energy of it doesn’t end up inside of us. Shit can be used to fertilize flowers and vegetables and trees, giving us beauty, oxygen and food, so that our whole physical self is nurtured and our soul can inhabit this wonderful world where good shit can happen to all of us when we realize we are all one, yet we have a unique, brilliant soul expression within that greater oneness.

Okay, I’m not listening so if you don’t think it’s funny, you don’t have to laugh, but here is a joke I would tell if I were a coffee comedian and I was trying to pull some material out of my…well, you know:
A barista who knows what they’re doing is training the new guy. The new guy makes a shitty batch of coffee. What does the more experienced barista say to the new guy?
“You shoulda saved that for an enema.”
Well shit. I love this. 🤎
That was really good shit! 🤣
