“the rules and laws of society, which are created by human beings do not attribute to good behavior, but quite its opposite; they are not in harmony with nature. The intentions and the will to hinder the flow of nature must be avoided, as well as violence and the different forms of oppression of individual and people’s freedoms” ~ Emma Brown (introduction to her translation of Tao Te Ching)
If the Sabbath is made for human beings
And not the other way around
If the laws are made to oppress human beings
Who are expressions of the Tao
How can that be helpful, how?
An inner compass
Does encompass
Empathy and Flow
And Authentic Voice
The River roars
And Gurgles
Stillness of the lake
Joyously disrupted
By the ripples of a
Child skipping rocks with glee
The wind blows
Cherry blossoms fall
We sense within our own inner GPS
Our path
And nature is sometimes Salmon
That is the Tao Too
But nature is never mammon
Which seeks to control
Nature
True Nature
Helps us all to know and understand we are whole
