Once I was in a space with Carlos Rosas, co-founder of Nia. I had the great joy of being in the last White Belt he ever did for Nia. He shared the story of asking a shaman, "What is music?" The Shaman, who was one of many generations of Shamans in his line, tuned in and said, 'Music is the festive dress of silence." Zac Chats are another source of wisdom I enjoy and I remember resonating when Zac said that our personalities from our incarnations are like outfits. We can put them on, even after our life is over, but they are always something we take lightly, something that we use to express ourselves, but not anything more than a part of our style, our dress. That really resonated with me! I also think examining our stories that may have become identities...I am the one who...this always happens....blah blah blah and seeing if those stories are creating a scaffolding for the epic poem you want to live or if they are simply places that need love and to be released to allow us to turn over a new page, so to speak, in terms of identity. I also love the Sophia Code by Kaia Ra. She talks about how each soul has all the same qualities as Sophia/God yet sequenced uniquely. So there is SOME level of "identity" that is, still, ultimately a holograph of God, yet it’s the truth of who we are - is that we are as exactly that! That core spiritual DNA can be expressed so many infinite ways, just God/Source! What ways do we want to express next? How can we co-create with our environment - work to create a more harmonious environment for all - including us?
