Into Blessings

Hard things often become blessings later. The same for people. Including four leggeds.

When Adrian came to us, she was a mess. She’d been returned twice after having been a stray, one time because she kept escaping and jumping in a neighbor’s pool. At first she wouldn’t let you touch her belly, she pooped on the floor and couldn’t be left at all. Now, as you can see, she is a big baby and has learned that it is safe to relax enough to receive love.

We aren’t alway the person to teach this lesson to someone or to teach it all the way through - and some people aren’t ready to receive it in this life. But sometimes we are. And sometimes we even get to be around for when the lesson is learned.
