Stories from nature and a quick announcement about about love notes, affirmations & prayers for the next 30 days
We are all evolving.
My neighbor announced to me from her yard to mine, that this year, for the first time, the bunnies have had the gall to eat her tomatoes. The ones she went to quite a bit of effort to obtain from a small family farm, that produce beautiful tomatoes, that, I must say, if tomatoes were to be shamed - and they should not be - would put mine to shame. She told me the rabbit had the nerve to just stare at her while they did it too!
I observed that yes, the bunnies have gotten completely bold, and that, perhaps if humanity could pick up on this newfound rabbit-courage, we might be in a better place as a whole. This seemed less relevant to her, than her more immediately pressing rabbit-tomato scenario, so I empathized with her and said I would have a word the rabbit and ask it to respect her tomatoes. I mentioned how, over the past two-three years I have seen the rabbits evolve to eat many things they did not eat before - even things that were previously deterrents such as marigolds. I told her she could try lime. I didn’t mention that once a buddhist nun suggested adult male urine could be the thing. Maybe later. It wasn’t the time. My husband was with me. I didn’t want to volunteer him. She has her own husband, but I don’t want to think about him peeing on his tomatoes out at night. It’s just creepy! I did tell her I’ve heard the birds speaking squirrel. I swear it’s true, although I cannot decipher the words, and I’m not sure whether they can either. I could go either way if I were to guess. Earlier today, a squirrel dragged a piece of long, brown twisty paper used for packing material half-way up our apple tree, before getting scared by our dog and then perhaps abandoning the project, or alternatively, putting it on the backburner.
However you slice it or twist it or haul it up a try or chomp on it, life around us is evolving.
How are you evolving?
Over the next 30 days I’ll be doing a love note, a prayer, and an affirmation to help us as we adapt to the incredibly intense pressure we are under in this time of shifting tides, sands and dynamics within our world, our cosmos and within ourselves. I will be taking a break from these more anecdote and nerdy posts during this time unless I am strongly guided to write one, in which case, I’ll write one.
Thanks for shining and for sharing the journey!
Blessings & Love to You & To All

In amongst all the aforementioned and hinted at stresses, this was like a little drink of fresh water in a forest stream. Thanks
Amazing 😻
